A former Oklahoma trucker, Slim is a one-off…unique…he speaks three languages, is an ex Mensa member, has two degrees & is also a Vietnam vet still active in the anti- war movement…and still getting arrested for it too!

He is also one of the most honourable people I’ve had the privilege to meet….oh and he’s also simply an amazing performer.

Playing his lap steel left-handed he delivers a wonderful melange of original numbers (mostly autobiographical) & classic blues and country songs.

He mostly appears solo but occasionally tours with his wonderful band The Workers. He’s shared the stage with many of the “Blues Elite”…Bonnie Raitt, John Lee Hooker (RIP) & Champion Jack Dupree (RIP), Janeeva Magness & many more.

His many awards (the list is too long for here!) include several B.B King Entertainer awards & the coveted W.C. Handy Award.

“Songs of love, lust & heartache…and his slide guitar really rocks!” Rhythm Magazine.
